Failure National Park

Monday July 27, 2009
Today was mostly a driving day. We drove from Niagara Falls, New York to Canton, Ohio. We tried to do some sightseeing by stopping at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. But we missed/ couldn’t find the visitors center. While everyone was discussing what to do next, I got out and walked down to look at the river. It was very pretty. There was also a very nice bike path, with a little bridge that went over the river. I was sad when we had to leave. It was a very weird national park though, because there was a town in the middle of it. Anyway, we decided to continue to Canton, to the Country Inn and Suites where we were staying. We dropped off our stuff there, and then went to Chick-Fil-A, a fast food place popular in the south and the mid-west. Nobody liked it very much, but it was interesting to try. Mama, especially likes their advertising campaign that features cows trying to convince everyone to “eat more chickin.” We returned to the hotel, swam, and got hot, fresh chocolate chip cookies for a late night snack.
